Alec Baldwin and the Gloden Globes

The Golden Globe Nominees were announced this week. And I could ramble on about a few different things, but I choose to focus on one man, someone I just can’t get enough of…Alec Baldwin – Nominated for Best Actor in Television Series, Comedy or Musical (by the way, the musical addition is new, thanks to Glee…what another freakin’ awesome show).

Alec Baldwin has had his highs and lows, but no matter what he does he always seems to come out on top…eventually. 30 Rock is not new, now on its 4^th Season, but it continues to deliver awesome comedy to what some think is a rather particular crowd – likely a SNL meets sit-com enthusiast…a population that is rather mass, acutally. His new movie It’s Complicated is also up for Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical. And the lovely Meryl Streep is up for Best Performance – we’ll see how that goes as she plays a role that really pushes boundaries for her. :-/

Regardless, Alec is an anchor on the Tine Fey lead team of comics and as a result of this show he continues to embed himself in the pop culture of comedy.
