Caninja!

Never mind the stovepipe pant and the cape/cloak/shawl fall winter trends this season – it’s soon going to get effin’ cold up here in the great white north and what better way to laugh right back at the gusts from the arctic than to suit up ninja-style in your very own, handmade, earth-friendly and (now this is important) insulated “Caninja”?!

Made by Toronto designer Adrienne Butifoker, these Canadian, Ninja-like hat and scarf combos, made from sweaters and lined with fleece can be worn many different ways and have been a minor hot item amongst the artsy Ossington set here in Hogtown (and beyond, she’s sold as far afield as Finland and, gasp, even the Canadian Prairies!) since she started making them back in 2006.
